INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING
The international activity of the department is an integral part in the training of highly qualified specialists who are fluent in domestic and foreign technologies, well acquainted with world practice, with a broad outlook, competitive in the world labor market. Therefore, the Department of Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing aims to actively enter the world educational and scientific space and considers international cooperation as one of the priority areas. The main task of the staff of the department is to strengthen and expand international cooperation with foreign universities, research centers, specialized companies. The main areas of international activity are: participation of faculty in international seminars, conferences, symposia, international scientific events; exchange of teachers for lectures, seminars; conducting joint research; organization of international conferences, joint publications in scientific journals and collections of papers.
The international activity of our department is based on the following principles :
- preservation of national sovereignty in the field of education and its national diversity; openness to international cooperation and partnership; openness of international standards and best practices in the organization of scientific and educational activities in Ukraine and abroad; participation of the entire university community in international activities; the most effective use of available and attraction of additional resources in realization of priority directions of the international cooperation; multiculturalism, multilingualism, interfaith tolerance as a basis for international cooperation.
From July 8 to 12, 2024, representatives of NUPh participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training program at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France.
In order to exchange best practices and experiences, an event on the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training academic mobility program was held at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, from July 8 to 12, 2024, with the participation of Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Professor Victoria Kuznetsova, head of the department of pharmaceutical management and marketing, Professor Volodymyr Malyi, head of the department of normal and pathological physiology, Professor Nadiia Kononenko, head of the department of clinical laboratory diagnostics, Professor Rymma Yeromenko, and Head of the Center of International Occupational Guidance and External Relations, Halyna Hryhoriv.
During the academic mobility, participants:
-held an organizational meeting with the leadership of the University of Burgundy (Vice-Rector for International Activities Gregory Wegmann, Head of the International Cooperation Department Bénédicte Fortier, the Dean, and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy) and discussed the main directions and possibilities for implementing joint scientific and educational projects between NUPh and the University of Burgundy;
– familiarized with the curricula and programs of the University of Burgundy for the purpose of further detailed planning of academic exchanges for applicants for education and discussed academic exchanges under the Erasmus + program for the 2024/2025 academic year;
– acquainted with the laboratories and equipment of the departments of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the sports center of the University of Burgundy.
In the new academic year, the University of Burgundy is already waiting for applicants for education from the NUPh to study and internship under the Erasmus + program. So ahead is the expansion of cooperation and the implementation of joint plans.
The department has international relations with universities, research institutes both near and far abroad. Academic mobility in 2022-2023:
Professor Olena Litvinova completed a research internship under the Austrian Academy of Sciences’ academic mobility program “Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities” (JESH) at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Patient Safety in Vienna from June 9, 2022, to August 9, 2022; and from September 10, 2022, to February 28, 2023.
