Scholarship programs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) (German: Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdien) is a self-governing organization of German higher education institutions that promotes international student and researcher exchange. DAAD offers a wide range of programs, including grants for studies, research, participation in summer schools, and language courses.

The Fulbright Academic Exchange Program

The Fulbright Program in Ukraine aims to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Ukraine and the United States, promoting the development of professional skills and international collaboration. More information can be found on the official website: https://fulbright.org.ua/uk/programs/ .

Fulbright Graduate Student Program: Provides the opportunity to study at U.S. universities for one to two years to obtain a master’s degree. Senior-year students and graduates of higher education institutions are eligible to apply. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree at the time the scholarship is awarded.

Fulbright Research and Development Program: Offers the opportunity to conduct research at U.S. universities for a duration of six to nine months. Applicants up to the age of 45 with at least two years of professional experience are eligible to apply, including: university faculty; postgraduate students and researchers who do not yet hold a doctoral degree; PhD holders; university administrators; research institute staff; journalists; specialists in library, museum, and archival work; cultural management professionals; and employees of non-governmental organizations.

Fellowship amount: 14,000 Israeli New Shekels (ILS) per month.
