She graduated from Kharkiv State University in “Biochemistry” with honors (1995); worked at the State Enterprise “State scientific center of drugs” Ministry of Health of Ukraine (1995-2009). She participated in the nonclinical study of more than 30 drugs, the technologies of which were developed by the State Enterprise “State scientific center of drugs” and implemented at pharmaceutical companies of Ukraine, took part in practical activities in the field of “Protection and commercialization of intellectual property objects in pharmacy”. In 2000, she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Biology. In 2005, she graduated from the Interdisciplinary institution of advanced training in new directions of technology development at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” in the field of intellectual property.

In 2018, she defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Theoretical and practical approaches to intellectual resources management of drug developers and manufacturers under conditions of innovative development” on the specialty 15.00.01 – Drug technology, pharmacy organization, and judicial pharmacy.

In 2020, she received a Master’s degree in Management from the National University of Pharmacy.

Since 2009, O.V. Litvinova has been working as an associate professor at the department of management, economics, and quality assurance in pharmacy at the National University of Pharmacy, since 01.09.2020 – professor at the department of management and quality assurance in pharmacy (since September 2024, department of management, marketing, and quality assurance in pharmacy).

Deputy Chief Editor of the journal “Management, economics and quality assurance in pharmacy” (until 2021).

Educational, methodical, and scientific work. Disciplines taught by professor: “Methodology and Logic of Scientific Research,” “Strategic Management of Organizations,” “Strategic Management,” “Intellectual Business,” “Economics of Innovative Activity,” “Management and Leadership,” and “Good Pharmaceutical Practices.” Author of 8 textbooks, 6 scientific and methodological recommendations, 34 educational and methodological recommendations, 80 articles, 147 conference abstracts, 1 Ukrainian patent for invention, 14 certificates of copyright registration for a work.
