Nataliya Mykhailivna Pysachenko, deputy director for quality of “Drugs of Poltava region” LLC, visited the students of the 4th year of the “Pharmacy” educational program for the final class on pharmaceutical management and marketing. During the meeting, a wide range of issues were considered, starting from the peculiarities of starting a pharmacy business, the preparation of documents for obtaining a license for the retail sale of medicinal products, and the formation of the product range of the pharmacy. Mrs. Natalya spoke about the peculiarities of the work of LLC “Drugs of Poltava region”, which has been operating since 2001 and currently has 32 pharmacies, including 12 pharmacies, 20 pharmacy points. The company is a distributor of the local drug manufacturer Lubnypharm PJSC. Pharmacy No. 270 manufactures allopathic and homeopathic extemporaneous drugs. The questions asked by students during the discussion related to employment and the possibility of industrial practice, the algorithm, features of opening pharmacies and ensuring profitability, quality control of medicines, rules for dispensing medicines from pharmacies, etc. It should be noted that the most active participants in the discussion were those applicants with practical experience.

Thanks to the event, students were able to combine the theoretical information they received during the semester with practical implementation in the work of the pharmacy network.
