On March 30, 2023, representatives of the “Arterium” corporation held a practical session on the topic “Managing conflicts and stresses. Group dynamics and management in the system of pharmaceutical enterprises” for students of the 4th year of the Fm19(4,10d)-02 specialty Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy (teacher – associate professor Hanna Babicheva).
“Arterium” Corporation is a leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical company, which is among the TOP-5 domestic manufacturers of medicinal products. Products for the Arterium company are produced by the enterprises “Kyivmedpreparat” and “Halychpharm. The company is a manufacturer of original and generic medicines and works in the following therapeutic areas: neurology, cardiology, dermatology. The company also produces veterinary drugs.
Tetiana Kovtonyuk – a certified business trainer, mediator, head of training projects of “Tryglav International”, a partner company of the “Arterium” Corporation, conducted a practical class for the applicants. In an interactive form, the business trainer told the applicants about the positive and negative consequences of conflicts, typical signs and formulas of conflicts, the main styles of behavior in a conflict situation. Conflict management is currently one of the main competencies of a modern specialist. During the class, they discussed the algorithm for solving a conflict situation, considered typical conflicting words, and practiced formulating phrases that neutralize irritation. Applicants were asked to watch an excerpt from the film “Anger Management”, which vividly demonstrates a conflict situation and typical conflict triggers.
At the end of the class, they summed up the results, the winners shared their impressions and their own thoughts. Ms. Tetiana wished the awardees success in resolving any conflicts and urged them to consider conflict in their professional activities and everyday life, first of all, as an opportunity.
