On October 18, 2024, the Associate Professor of Higher Education of the Department of Management, Marketing and Quality Assurance in Pharmacy, Anna Babicheva, as part of the volunteer and educational activities of the BF “For the Life” with the support of the Youth Hub of the KZ “Kharkiv Regional Library for Children and Youth” of the Kharkiv Regional Council, held a thematic online a conversation for students of the Kharkiv Academic Art Lyceum.
During the meeting on the topic “The path from infatuation to love” in the form of an interactive conversation, the essence and differences of the concepts of “infatuation” and “love” were considered. Students gave very apt associations to each concept. For the most part, falling in love among young people is associated with euphoria, an explosion of emotions, tension and excitement, and suffering. Love is characterized by such associations as care, trust, stability, help, loyalty and mutual understanding.
Indeed, later on, falling in love gives way to a deeper feeling – love, which is aimed at the inner world and personality of the partner. It is love that is the basis on which family relationships should be built, because it is characterized by patience, kindness, the ability to forgive and support. We hope that the information received by the teenagers will be useful in the future adult life. Huge thanks to the organizers of the thematic meeting and all participants for their attention, activity and interest in the topic.
